Wesentlich hierfür sind Unterschiede bezüglich der Kategorien 'Beratungsorientierung', 'emotionale Haltung' und 'Positionierung zwischen Schuldner und Gläubiger'. Diese zentralen Kategorien korrespondieren mit individuellen Faktoren der beratenden Personen sowie den strukturellen Rahmenbedingungen der jeweiligen supplier, in der die Berater tätig sind, welche allerdings für die Typenbildung nur eine nachrangige Rolle gespielt haben.
